about
The Perfect Heart – Creating and Maintaining Love/Life Balance briefly chronicles my failed marriage, which was the inspiration for creating The Perfect Heart image. Not wanting to make the same mistakes I made in my marriage, I designed a Personal Relationship Management tool to keep me on track with my relationship goals as I re-entered the dating world. I wasn’t looking for the perfect relationship, but rather what is “perfect” for me. The Perfect Heart took shape as I defined what I wanted and serves as a reminder of my goals. The book explains the concept of The Perfect Heart and how you can customized your Perfect Heart, whether you are single or involved in a relationship.
Think of this first book as The Perfect Heart 101. It contains direct and to the point content without restating the same thing over and over again in different chapters. Future books in The Perfect Heart series will expand upon the concept and apply it towards different life situations; couples with children, empty nesters, single people dating with kids, teenagers and so forth.
After reading The Perfect Heart – Creating and Maintaining Life/Love Balance I invite you to subscribe to my blog. The intention of the blog is to support the premise of The Perfect Heart image. I will share more of my story and the experiences of fellow readers to provide reminders, ideas and encouragement. In the future this site will have a tool for you to create your personalized Perfect Heart image and maintain one of the lists discussed in the book. So there are many good reasons to join the blog.
Just a little about me. In 2009 I moved to the beautiful Napa Valley. It is terribly convenient since I love great food and wine. More importantly, it is close to my sister and niece. It is here where I finished my book and subsequently met the “Him” in My Perfect Heart. Yes, it worked for me! He is my list. Stay tuned to hear how that story unfolded.
Cheers!
Kim
